             *UPDATED* After enhancing the photo and double checking the birth , death and census records, I believe the inscription is:

              RICHARD MONKS DIED DEC 11TH 1864 AGED 68 YEARS
             ALSO ANN HIS WIFE DIED JUNE 5TH 1862 AGED 64 YEARS
              JOSEPH THEIR SON DIED NOV 28TH 1852 AGED 21 YEARS
